I finished!
I didn't write a last day report because, well things were exciting. I finished. 13 days, 9 hours, 49 minutes, and 15 seconds. I rolled into Wisconsin Happy not to have to run for while. What a trip. what an experience. I had a great crew that supported me the whole and in no way could i have done it without them. I am very thankful for my wife who did everything she could to make this dream a reality. 543 miles and WE made it.

Day 12 (32 mi)
Day 12 6,600ft of elevation gain. Holy wah. What a day. Rained all day, which was fine. Rain made the rocks a little slick and views a little cloudy. Over all good day. Legs are sore but I conquered the trap hills, now on to the porkies!

Day 10 (38 mi) and day 11 (31 mi)
Day 10 started at canyon falls and ended south of Bob lake . The Ottawa national forest. I decided to run some extra miles today so that Wednesday would not be so long, since it's one of the hillyest. I ended up running 8 extra miles and feeling g pretty good. Even got a visit from some friends.
Day 11 started out wet and rainy then turned warm and sunny. Most of the day I spend running through the swamps of the Ottawa national forest. Then day got nicer and got to see some water falls and and old town. Old Victoria. Overall great day.

Day 8 and 9
Day 8 started at the little garlic river north of Marquette. The day ended at the west side of McCormick wilderness area. It was alot of road running to start the day then very rough trail thru the wilderness area.
Day 9 started out on some more wild and rough trails that took me to Craig lake state park. Then I ran some gnarly 2 tracks until I got to canyon falls. My legs are sore but the 9 day is the hardest right?

Day 6 and 7 ( 43 miles and 40 miles)
Day 6 was long. Starting in munising was fun and familiar. The trails through valley spur was like my home course. The rest of the trail awesome until the rock river wilderness area then it got rough. Rocky and rooty, wet and not used much.
Day 7 was fun to run thru Marquette. Most of the day was on the iron ore trail. The rest of the day was north of the city. And I finished along the garlic river. Legs are sore but day 7 is the hardest right?
